Bots
Moving between bots
There is no list of bots. Kakapo opens on the bot you worked on most recently. The bot switcher at the top of the page, beside your Workspace name, moves between bots and is also where you add one.
Create a bot
- Open the bot switcher and choose New bot.
- Enter a name and optional description.
- Select Create bot.
Only a Workspace Owner can create or delete a bot. Managers can configure and train any bot that already exists.
Limits
- Maximum active bots per Workspace: 10.
At the limit, the switcher says so and offers no new bot. Delete one you no longer need before adding another.
What a bot contains
Each bot has:
- Configuration (General, Model, Theme, Access)
- Data sources (Files, URLs, Text, Q&A)
- Message logs
- A test chat
- Embed and share snippets
Delete a bot
- Go to Configuration → Access.
- Use Delete bot, and type the bot's name to confirm.
Deleting a bot permanently removes it from Kakapo, including its trained sources, uploaded files, API keys, and conversation history. This cannot be undone, and it removes the bot for everyone in the Workspace.
