Getting Started

Access requirements

Kakapo is part of MindFull Backoffice, and it uses your MindFull account. One account covers Kakapo alongside CRM, bookings, and the rest of your Workspace, and your Workspace subscription includes Kakapo with an AI allowance rather than charging for it separately.

MindFull is currently invite-only, so creating an account needs an invitation code. If you do not have one, request an invite from MindFull Backoffice: submit your name and email, and if approved you will receive a code by email.

If someone in your organisation already has a Workspace, ask them to invite you to it rather than requesting a separate one.

Where you build a bot

You build and manage bots in MindFull Backoffice, under Kakapo. Nobody signs in at kakapo.chat. That address serves your bot to your customers, not the tools you use to build it.

Sign in to Backoffice and choose Kakapo from the navigation. The entry appears once your Workspace has Kakapo switched on, under Settings → Capabilities.

Because your account belongs to MindFull rather than to Kakapo, everything about it is managed in one place: signing in with email and password or with a connected provider, resetting a forgotten password, and adding a provider to an existing account. Kakapo has no separate password and no separate sign-out.

First-time flow

Opening Kakapo in Backoffice:

• With no bots yet, you are invited to create your first one.
• After that, Kakapo opens on the bot you worked on most recently. The bot switcher at the top of the page moves between bots and creates new ones.
• A new bot opens on its configuration, ready to be trained.
