Share your catalog and a page for each offering
A public page is a page in your business's name that presents what you offer and lets anyone send you an inquiry. Use it where you have no website: a social media post, your bio, a flyer, or a message to a group. Every inquiry sent from one arrives in your CRM inbox like any other, marked with the page it came from.
Public pages need both CRM and Bookings switched on for the Workspace.
There are two kinds:
- The main page, at your business's own address. It shows a card for each offering that has a page of its own, and a form where visitors can ask about anything you have published.
- A page for one offering, such as a retreat or an event. Its address ends in the offering's name. It shows the offering's cover photo, the facts from your catalog (how long, when it starts, how many guests), your description, the rest of its photos, its video, and a form about that offering alone.
You can have one main page, and one page for each published offering.
Add photos, a video, and a description
These belong to the offering, so every page that shows the offering uses them.
- Open
Settings, thenBookings, thenCatalog, and chooseEditon the offering. Then chooseEditbesideAbout. - Under
Photos, chooseAdd photos. You can add up to 10, as JPEG, PNG, or WebP, up to 15 MB each; phone photos are fine as they are. The first photo is the cover. Use the arrows orCoverto change the order, and describe what each photo shows for visitors who use a screen reader. Photos save as you go. Location and camera details are removed from every photo when you upload it. - In the description you can write
**bold**,*italic*, lists starting with-or1., and links as[your website](https://example.com). A link must start withhttps://,http://,mailto:, ortel:. Leave a blank line between paragraphs. - Choose
Add a videoand paste a YouTube or Vimeo link. On the page, the video loads only when a visitor presses play. - Choose
Save offering, orPublishif the offering is still a draft.
Owners and Managers can both edit offerings.
Make a page
- Open
Settings, thenBookings, thenCatalog. - For the main page, choose
Create main pageat the top. For an offering, chooseAdd public pageon its row. Only published offerings can have one. - Add an introduction if you want one. It sits on the page in your own words.
- Choose what the page shows. Both are off unless you turn them on:
- Indicative price: your rate, and what the dates and party a visitor types would cost. The page says you confirm the price in the booking agreement.
- Whether dates are free: read from your bookings, holds, and calendar. A visitor can still send dates that are taken.
- Set a last day for inquiries if the page should stop on its own, such as the day registration for an event closes.
- Choose
Create page, thenCopy link, and share it.
To see a page as a visitor does, choose Open beside its Public page button.
Owners and Managers can both make and change public pages.
Changing a page's address
An offering's page starts at an address made from the offering's name. Renaming
the offering does not change it on its own. To change it, open the page from its
Public page button and edit Address. After a rename the form suggests an
address from the new name; choose Use this address, then Save.
The old address keeps working and takes visitors to the new one, so posts and flyers you have already shared still lead to the page. Another page cannot use an address one of your pages had before.
The main page's address is your business's own and does not change.
What visitors see
A page in your business's name. Nothing is filled in for them. A short check confirms a person is sending the form, and most visitors pass it without doing anything. Public pages can appear in search results, so people may find them without a link from you.
Switching a page off
Open the page from the Catalog and choose Switch off. Anyone opening the
address is told the page is no longer taking inquiries. The same happens after
its last day, and when the offering it is about is no longer published.
You can delete a page only while nobody has sent an inquiry from it. Once one has, the page has probably been shared, so switch it off instead.
